Leysin American School (LAS), set in the Swiss Alps, brings together students from over 60 countries in a globally minded, close-knit community.

For over 60 years, LAS has fostered excellence in academics, sports, and the arts. Founded by Sigrid and Fred Ott, the school remains committed to their vision—providing an international education in an inspiring, secure environment.

LAS maintains confidentiality regarding enrolled students, balancing privacy with safety and legal obligations. As a boarding school, our staff prioritizes student safety and wellbeing, acting in loco parentis. Information is shared as needed through dorm and pastoral notes in Orah, PowerSchool, Magnus Health, and other systems to ensure quality care.
